Bethany Church was established in November 2008. We are ordinary people from diverse backgrounds... IT professionals, business people, government workers, school teachers, medical professionals, and home makers. What binds our lives together is our commitment to Jesus Christ and His gospel that emphasizes a heart-felt love for God, loving relationships that encourage Christlikeness, and the spreading of the gospel truth to all people.
There is a central vision that drives everything we do: it is an earnest desire to see the God of the Bible glorified, worshiped, and loved in the hearts of people. From our corporate worship service, to our Sunday classes, to our regular Bible studies, we want to be passionate about the greatest Person in the entire universe, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It's all about Him!
The common thread that keeps this vision alive is the Bible. Since we believe that the Bible is the very word of God to man, we have been given all the truth we need in order to worship Him. It is the sole source of authority and sufficiency for all our beliefs and practices, which is why our church is deeply committed to studying and teaching the Scriptures.
Our Sunday worship services are approximately 75 minutes long (9:30 am & 11:00 am). Our worship service is for the entire family, although we do provide ministries for children ages birth through 12th grade. The sermons are typically 45 minutes in length and seek to instruct the mind as well as engage the heart with the Bible. Every sermon is designed to faithfully teach what the Bible says and to apply it to our everyday lives. Our praise/music style is a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise music with the priority given to the biblical truth in each song we sing. There is also a time of scripture reading and prayer at each service. Once a month, we remember the death of Christ by celebrating the Lord’s Supper (generally on the first Sunday of the month).
We would be privileged to meet you in person and to welcome you to our church family!
